RESET is a local missions opportunity for disciples from around the country. Village Leaders will serve as volunteers while the gifts of generous donors are primarily used to sponsor students and camp expenses.
Village leaders outside of the Greater New Orleans area must raise support for any costs related to travel (air fare, bus fare, gas). Click here for tips on raising support. RESET is committed to partnering with volunteers by covering out-of-town staff overnight stay in NOLA (3 nights only), uniforms, meals, transportation to camp site if needed, and other general staff expenses.
Village Leaders will meet these minimum requirements:

Agreement and understanding of RESET's mission and values

Maintain an "I am third" attitude: God 1st, students/guests 2nd, self 3rd

Heart of a missionary and an understanding of the commitment required to raise financial support

At least 18 years old and has at least a high school diploma or HiSET

Energetic, passionate, and love to serve

Able to provide references

Able to pass a background check and complete required on-boarding training

Experience working at camps and/or youth ministry (preferred, but not required)

Village Leader
Village Leaders are the pulse to RESET Camp. They will work directly with campers, and serve by teaching and leading small groups. The key ministry areas (KMA) for Village Leaders are as follows:

Lead small group Bible studies -
Lead general camp activities (games, icebreakers, village challenges, etc.) -
Co-lead a Creative group (Drama, Rap/Spoken Word, or Dance) -
Motivate and inspire campers to be engaged and participate in discussions, worship sessions, and camp activities -
Provide support to camp leadership in executing camp activities and events i.e. REC time, worship services, clean up, set up, and other assistance as needed

Experience in biblical teaching required -
Ability to lead small groups -
Classroom management skills -
Ability to give instruction and communicate effectively -
Maintain a positive attitude and motivate all campers and staff -
Creative and open to new ideas -
Extremely energetic and not afraid to get "out of the box" -
Experience working with middle and high school students strongly recommended
Team Manager
We are seeking four Team Managers who will serve as village leaders and oversee the logistics of one of the following W.E. C.A.R.E. teams under the direction of the RESET Leadership team:
Entertainment and Production Team (filled by Program Coordinator)
