EXPECTATIONS
CHAPERONES
Chaperones will be expected to make sure students are arriving to scheduled sessions and meals on time, and ensure that students are meeting the expectations below. The Group Leader will be contacted if a student is not present 10 minutes after the start of a session or if there is a behavior issue.
CELL PHONE/HEADPHONES POLICY
Phone usage/headphones at camp is at the discretion of the Group Leader. Throughout the weekend, some sessions will allow campers to use their phone to interact with us via games and social media. We will also be sending announcements and updates via text. Cell phone usage will only be allowed at designated times. We will notify campers when we have entered a “no phone zone.” Failure to comply may result in the phone/headphones being confiscated until the end of camp.
BEHAVIOR

No guests will be allowed to rent golf carts, and may only ride in golf carts if injured

No wet clothing inside the worship area and cafeteria
HOUSING

Campers should be in their room by 11:30 PM with lights out no later than 12 AM

No guys in girls’ rooms and no girls in guys’ rooms

At least one adult (19 years or older) should be assigned to each room
DRESS CODE

Face mask/shield when social distancing is not possible

Wear closed toe and closed heel shoes at all times

Wear your name tag at all times (REC activities excluded)

No clothing that advertises tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs

No clothing that explicitly or implicitly promotes racism, sexism, or hatred towards any group

No spaghetti straps, except for sleepwear

Please wear modest, one-piece bathing suits OR a swimsuit covered with a dark colored t-shirt

Please wear modest shorts, dresses, slacks, and/or jeans

Please do not dress in ways that call attention to underwear (sagging, rolled down waistbands, etc.)
IMPORTANT:
The Camp Director reserves the right to prayerfully send a camper home anytime at their discretion for any illegal and/or inappropriate activity that takes place at camp. Group leaders will be responsible for arrangements if such takes place.
HEALTH & SAFETY
RESET Camp is committed to keeping students, leaders, and staff safe. We are preparing to take COVID-19 precautions by working closely with local public health officials and aligning with local, state and federal public health guidelines. This section will be updated frequently as we continue to receive new information. RESET will be following the guidance of Shocco Springs and camp guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
A few steps we are taking to keep you safe:

All attendees will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of arriving to camp

Proof of vaccination for all vaccinated attendees

Frequent, intensified cleansing and disinfecting of hand surfaces and high traffic areas

Multiple sanitizing/hand-washing stations

Hand-washing instructions posted in bathrooms

Sanitizing activity equipment before and after use

Daily temperature and health checks

Social distancing when possible
-
Portable meal options for those who want to eat outside or other designated eating areas

Maintaining small groups

Collecting health forms from each camper

Providing resources to attendees on good hygiene behavior (hand-washing, covering mouths when sneezing/coughing)

Staff training on recognizing illnesses and symptoms of COVID-19
-
Providing guidance to Group Leaders and parents on how to recognize symptoms of COVID-19 to assess students and chaperones before traveling to camp
-
Campers, leaders and staff who are sick, have been diagnosed, have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days of camp are prohibited from attending
In Case Of Emergency
Should a child, leader or staff member become ill or show symptoms while at RESET, the individual will be quarantined. The parent/guardian listed on the camper's profile will be contacted immediately if the camper is under the age of 19. A possible shut down of all camp operations could be the result if signs of symptoms are widespread. Please be aware that we will doing everything in our power to keep all campers safe and their parents/guardians well-informed.
VILLAGES
are small groups divided by grade. They will also be your "teammates" throughout camp participating in games and challenges to be crowned Village Champions!
